I can't sit on the toilet
Back to Full Blog

I joined a gym and got a personal trainer this week.

The people working at the gym said something like "you are in shape so you shouldn't have any problem toning up"

What they did not realize is that I am just naturally the size of a twig and am completely out of shape.

My trainer worked me pretty hard yesterday - now I can barely bend my legs to sit on the toilet. I need to use my arms to support my weight.

Today we worked the upper body and she just kept saying "wow" when I would tire long before she expected....but she pushed me. It felt good. But, I anticipate tomorrow's pain and burn and I will not be able to use my arms to help support my weight to sit on the toilet.

I may need to get Rob to stop and buy a bed pan or some big people diapers on his way home from work today.

tell the cheeseball trainers to lighten up...better to be on the level than pose and end up stranded on the potty...silly! BC

Yes, I would say being stuck on the potty would suck....however the problem is I can get up once down.....but I can't go down.

At my age, aches and pain go with living. I figure if I wake up pain free, I'm probably dead.

You have so much more energy than I do. I'm jealous, however, maybe not. Pain isn't my thing.

I'm getting back to exercising myself (not entirely my idea); only I'm easing myself into it. Trouble is I'm easing so slowly no one has noticed yet. But on the up side, nothing hurts either.

I would get a personal trainer except they tend to want you to do things.

I suppose it depends on one's focus of energy, Sherry. You are growing veggies and I wish I could find the energy for that. Instead.....I guess I need some chic to kick my ass and make me feel like crap the next day.

Hmmmmm. Considering my past relationships, maybe there is a pattern here.

Lonewolf, I never thought I would find myself saying this but, I hope you keep feeling the pain then!

Anex! If I lived closer, we could be workout buddies! Talk the dogs for a walk, have a beer, sit and rest the muscles.

I like that kinda' thing! Unfortunatetly, I have always been terribly lazy and as of recent, I sit a computer all day for work. If I don't get someone to make me hurt, I just might start to resemble the fake leather I sit upon

Have you considered a bucket implant? Just a temporary, maybe with some velcro fasteners or something. Works best with a muumuu. Ditches are nice too...but watch out for the splash back.

Prank, my friend! Great to see you. And if you use the ditch approach, as my CO camping expertise has taught me, be sure to walk a good distance from the place in which you plan to sleep.

Hi Misty! I didn't set myself on fire, so a dandy holiday it was. And yours? How is that ankle of yours doing?

girl, a person who hires a personal trainer is a glutton for punishment! geeze, I'll say one thing ... you're one brave ass even if you can't get it off the toilet!

haha! I am one lazy person so I HAD to hire an ass kicker trainer!

Here is where the problem lies....I can get up, no problem. I can't squat/sit down.
